Commercial AC Installation & Replacement in Taylorsville, KY

When the cooling system on your Taylorsville office, storefront, restaurant, or shop can no longer keep tenants and customers comfortable, a properly engineered replacement protects both your building and your bottom line. Ferrell's Air Conditioning & Heating installs and replaces rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, and packaged equipment sized to the real load of your space — not a guess.

When should a Taylorsville business replace its commercial AC?

Commercial cooling is a business expense, so the decision is about total cost, not just comfort. Consider replacement when your rooftop unit is 15 years or older, when three-phase energy costs keep climbing while performance drops, when tenants report uneven temperatures across the building, when an aging R-22 system is expensive to recharge, or when a remodel or expansion has changed your cooling load.

Common commercial AC failure points we design around

• Undersized or oversized RTUs that short-cycle and waste energy
• Poor curb and duct transitions that leak conditioned air
• Aging compressors and economizers past their service life
• Refrigerant that no longer meets current code
• Neglected maintenance that shortens equipment life

We start every project with a load calculation and a walk of your building, then handle the rooftop logistics, permitting, and code compliance. Where it makes sense, we schedule the changeout after hours so your business stays open. Pair a new system with a commercial AC maintenance agreement to protect the warranty.
