Last updated: July 22, 2026

The short version

  • We collect the details you give us (name, contact info, service address) and basic website-usage data.
  • We use it to answer you, schedule and complete service, and improve our website.
  • We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never share your mobile/SMS opt-in with anyone for their marketing.
  • You can opt out of texts (reply STOP), control cookies, and ask us to access or delete your data.
  • Questions? Call (502) 633-2665 or email [email protected].

This summary is for convenience only; the full policy below governs.

Ferrell's Air Conditioning & Heating (together with its owners and affiliates, "Ferrell's Air Conditioning & Heating," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at ferrellsair.com and in the course of providing heating, cooling, and indoor-air-quality services, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using our website or services, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us when you request service or an estimate, apply for a job, or contact us:

  • Identifiers and contact details — name, phone number, email, mailing/service address
  • Property and service details, service history, and maintenance records
  • Your messages and correspondence with our team
  • Job-applicant information you submit (work history, qualifications)

Information collected automatically when you use our website — IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and similar usage data, collected through cookies and analytics tools (see “Cookies & Tracking” below).

Calls and messages. If you call or text us, we keep records of that communication. We use WhatConverts call tracking on our website, so calls placed through tracked numbers may be logged, recorded, or transcribed for quality, training, and service follow-up. If a chat or texting feature is offered on the site, we keep those transcripts as well.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers or health data) through the website, and we ask that you not submit it through our forms.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Respond to inquiries and schedule, perform, and follow up on service and estimates
  • Prepare quotes and invoices and arrange payment or financing
  • Send appointment confirmations, service reminders, and account messages
  • Send promotions or newsletters where you have asked to receive them
  • Operate, secure, analyze, and improve our website and services
  • Evaluate job applications
  • Comply with law and enforce our agreements

3. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as needed to run our business and serve you, with the following categories of recipients:

  • Service providers who work on our behalf — website/hosting and lead-form processing, scheduling and CRM software, analytics providers (e.g., Google), communications and messaging providers, and our marketing agency
  • Financing partners — if you apply for financing, your application is handled by a third-party lender under its own terms and privacy policy
  • Professional advisors — such as accountants, insurers, and attorneys
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety and that of others
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

Our service providers are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us. We do not authorize them to sell your personal information.

4. “Do We Sell or Share?” (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some state privacy laws, including California’s CCPA/CPRA, define “sell” and “share” broadly to include the use of advertising or analytics cookies that disclose online identifiers to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. To the extent the analytics or advertising tools on our website are treated as a “sale” or “share” under those laws, you can opt out by adjusting your cookie choices in our consent banner, by enabling a recognized opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser, or by contacting us.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.

Your Privacy Choices

Your California Privacy Rights — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

This section supplements the rest of this Policy for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and describes choices available to all visitors.

Categories we collect. Through this website we collect: identifiers and contact details (name, phone, email, service address) that you submit on our forms; commercial information (service requests and history); and internet activity (IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed) collected via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (GA4), with form spam protection by Google reCAPTCHA. If you call a tracked number, call metadata and recordings are processed by our call tracking provider, WhatConverts.

“Sale” / “sharing” disclosure (CPRA). We do not sell personal information for money. Analytics and advertising cookies may be treated as “sharing” (cross-context behavioral advertising) under the CPRA. You have the right to opt out of that sharing.

How to opt out. Either of these works — no account needed:

  • Use the cookie banner on this site and choose Decline (your choice is saved and re-applied on return visits).
  • Turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser — we honor the GPC signal automatically, with no other action needed.

Your other rights. You may also request to know what personal information we hold, delete it, or correct it — and we will never discriminate against you (no denial of service, different prices, or lower quality) for exercising any privacy right.

To exercise these rights, contact Ferrell's Air Conditioning & Heating at [email protected] or (502) 633-2665, or write to us at 6036 Frankfort Rd, Shelbyville, KY 40065. This section was last updated on July 22, 2026.

5. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • Access or obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Obtain a portable copy of certain information
  • Opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising and certain profiling
  • Opt out of marketing emails (unsubscribe) and texts (reply STOP)
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights

Kentucky residents: Under the Kentucky Consumer Data Protection Act, you have the rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling. You may appeal a decision on your request by contacting us; if we deny your appeal, you may contact the Kentucky Office of the Attorney General.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA) and residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and others) have the analogous rights described above, including the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information where applicable.

To exercise any right, contact us at [email protected] or (502) 633-2665. We will verify your request (and an authorized agent’s authority) before responding, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

6. Text Messaging (SMS) — Your Consent

If you give us your mobile number and opt in — for example, by checking the SMS consent box on a form on this site — you agree to receive recurring text messages from Ferrell's Air Conditioning & Heating related to your inquiry, appointments, service, and account, and, where you have asked for them, occasional offers.

  • Message frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Your mobile information and SMS consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Mobile numbers collected for texting are disclosed only to the messaging providers that deliver the texts you requested, on our behalf.

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, to remember preferences, to analyze traffic, and (where enabled) to support advertising. When required, we present a cookie-consent banner so you can accept or decline non-essential cookies, and you can also control cookies through your browser settings.

Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control. Because there is no common industry standard for “Do Not Track” signals, our site does not respond to them. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).

8. Analytics & Advertising

We use Google Tag Manager to manage tags on our website, including Google Analytics, which helps us understand how visitors use the site. We also use WhatConverts call tracking to measure which marketing brings calls and leads to our business. These tools may set cookies and collect usage data and identifiers. We may also use advertising or conversion tags to measure and improve our marketing.

Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam and abuse; your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our website is intended for a general, adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (as defined by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain service and warranty records, comply with our legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Payments, Payment Security & Financing

Payment security. This website never collects, transmits, or stores credit- or debit-card numbers. Card payments are never entered on our pages: any online payment or financing step is completed on the payment processor’s or lender’s own secure (PCI DSS-compliant) hosted page, and in-person payments are handled through our standard, secure payment processes. If you apply for financing, your application and information are handled by a third-party lender under its own terms and privacy policy.

13. Third-Party Links

Our website may link to third-party websites and services we do not control (for example, manufacturers, financing partners, review platforms, and maps). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
